Hey guys! For today’s weekly obsession, I wanted to share a book that I just recently completed.  “Sarah’s Key” is a historical fiction novel written by French journalist Tatiana de Rosnay featuring two plot lines.  The first is that of ten-year-old Sarah Starzynski, a Jewish girl living in Paris in 1942, who is arrested with her parents during the Vel’ d’Hiv Roundup. Before they go, she locks her four-year-old brother in a cupboard, thinking the family should be back in a few hours.  The second plot follows Julia Jarmond, an American journalist living in Paris in 2002, who is asked to write an article in honor of the 60th anniversary of the roundup.  During her research Julia finds her and Sarah’s lives entwined, and as she continues to probe into Sarah’s past, she begins to question her own place in France, and to reevaluate her marriage and life.  This book is emotional, inspirational, and is an amazing read. I really encourage all of you to check it out! I hope you all have an awesome week! xoxo,
